If a charge fails, Stripe retries it automatically on its own schedule — we never hammer a card — and the account drops to the free plan until a retry succeeds. Run the agent from your own product
Create an API key, then POST a prompt to /api/v1/run with the same allowance. The response carries the reply, the actions performed and the remaining balance.
MCP for any agent client
Point an MCP client at your key and the same connected apps become tools in that client. Useful when the work starts somewhere else.
Inbound webhooks
Every automation gets its own POST URL. A form, a store, a CRM or a cron anywhere in the world can trigger the run, with the payload handed to the agent.
Ad spend guard
Run Meta, Google, TikTok or LinkedIn ads through the assistant with hard daily and monthly caps. The guard pauses anything that passes your number — it never raises a budget or unpauses on its own.
Own connections outside any catalog
Your SMTP server, your IMAP inbox, Sendy, AWS S3, your own AI key, or any platform with an API key. Encrypted at rest, private to your account, and usable by the agent like any catalog app.
Per-member isolation
Every account has its own connection context. One member's Gmail, files and records are unreachable from another member's workspace.
Revocable access
Disconnect an app and the agent loses access immediately. Tokens never reach the browser and are never shown to another member.

What exactly is Automate?+
It is one AI operator with access to the apps you already use. You connect Gmail, Slack, Notion, Google Sheets, HubSpot, Stripe, Shopify, GitHub and hundreds more. Then you ask in plain language — find something, write it, send it, log it, book it — and the AI performs the actions in your own accounts, showing every step it took.
Do I need to connect every app before I start?+
No. Connect one app, run your first task, and add the rest whenever you need them. If a task needs an app you have not connected, the agent offers a secure connection link instead of guessing.
Is my access shared with other members?+
No. Every member gets their own isolated connection context, so no one else can read your mail, see your files or use your accounts. Only you see your connections, runs and action log.
What can I actually ask it to do?+
Research a company and draft the outreach, send the email from your Gmail, reply to the thread, add the lead to your CRM, log it in a sheet, post a summary in Slack, create the Notion doc, book the meeting, pull the Stripe numbers, update the ticket, or prepare the report. If the app has an action, the agent can use it.
Does it send email without asking?+
It states what it is about to send — recipients, subject and body — and only proceeds when your instruction already contains those details or you confirm. Anything irreversible is shown before it happens.
How is usage counted?+
One AI task is one request you make. App actions are the individual calls the agent performs inside your apps, such as sending a message or creating a record. Each plan includes a monthly amount of both, and you can see the balance at the top of your workspace.
Can I use it from my own product?+
Yes, from the Growth plan. Create an API key and send a prompt to /api/v1/run, or point an MCP client at the same key. The same monthly allowance applies to both.
How do I cancel or disconnect an app?+
Disconnect any app from the Connections page at any time, and your access token is removed. Plan changes take effect at the end of the billing month, and you keep your run history.
What counts as an AI task?+
One instruction you send to the agent. It can involve several app actions inside that single task — for example, read the inbox, draft three replies and send them is one task with four actions.
What counts as an app action?+
One operation inside a connected app: sending a message, creating or updating a record, reading a file, posting to a channel, creating an event. Fetching tool definitions and searching the catalog are never charged.
What happens when I run out mid-month?+
The agent stops before starting work it cannot finish and tells you the balance. You can upgrade immediately or wait for the reset on the first of the month. Nothing is auto-charged.
Do I need my own API keys for each app?+
No. You connect each app through its normal consent screen, and the connection engine handles the tokens. You do not need to create developer apps or paste secrets.
How does the $1 trial work?+
Pay $1 once and the workspace opens for 24 hours with 10 AI tasks, 50 app actions and 1 connected app. Everything in the product is visible: every app page, guided setup, the ad spend guard and the full action log. After 24 hours the account drops to the free plan (3 tasks and 10 actions a month) until you pick a paid plan. There is no auto-charge.
